Individual situations also include demographic challenges and past business challenges in the unit you are assigned. There level of performance based management has no caring for any individuals or individual situations. You also can expect to have your position regularly threatened regardless of your performance. You are welcome to feel that you are a fundamental failure every day that you are lucky enough to work for 24. If you want to be personally insulted on a daily basis with no positive reinforcement this might be a great place for you. All of us had babysitting backgrounds and each of us had a different way of approaching or handling certain situations but it was important to our supervisors that we act consistently around the kids as much as possible so they would learn the rules too. ![]() The most challenging part was communicating with the other working attendants to make sure that we all have one set way to talk to kids or treat kids that need to be placed on time out or slightly scolded. Creating and building a bond with close to 100 kids was the most enjoyable part because then they are super excited next time they walk in to see you and it makes not only you happy but the parents as well to know that their child is being taken care of. Even though it could get hectic, my favorite part about the job was just spending an hour or two with the kids while their parents exercised, getting to know them and make them laugh or console them when they are upset. A typical day at work would include walking in to clock in and being greeted by all my friendly coworkers where you can hear the sounds of treadmills and pumped up music playing then entering the whole other world of 30 kids screaming and running around chaotically. I spent 98% of my time in the day care center where each attendant had to be background checked and CPR certified to begin with. I was cross-trained at 24 Hr to work the front desk and Kids Club which is the daycare center attached to gym. club face book page, respond to all yelp comments, post any new company. to talk about prior days sales drainers and drivers, labor, monthly sales budget (new membership sales, fitness sales, cancelations, and schedule.) manage Digital ship (i.e. Email Group X coordinator about all aerobics classes and instructor issues (positive and or negative.)meet with Membership mgr. Meet with facility Lead to cover accruent budget. Meet with service team (as needed) discus overtime as it reflects to labor, promotions and transfer possibilities, and any new product sales. ![]() Club walk and talk (get members perspective about club.) meet with personal training team to talk about client files, session assessments, fitness sales, sales techniques, and up coming certifications. to talk about adjusted daily sales numbers drainers and drivers to meet expectations. After conference call meet with department mgrs. for review and pep for daily district conference call. setting adjusted daily sales goals for the day, week to date numbers, labor review, and daily meeting time. check sales numbers from prior day (membership sales, total fitness sales, kids club sales, Retail sales, membership cancelations, retail returns, and Labor corrections) calculate new daily sales goal to meet monthly sales expectations as per 110% to budget. Inspect club with facilities tech lead prioritizes daily duties to be fixed as per budget and priority.
